Project portfolio planning is an elementary component in order to create space and resources for strategically necessary further development in the companies. It's an open secret that this doesn't always work well. This makes it all the more important to have a clear agenda so that things go well next year!

The planning of the project portfolio is part of the fixed calendar of the companies, the positive feeling about the process and the result unfortunately not always: unclear content specifications, parallel budgeting processes, difficult discussions about the relevance of project ideas, lack of transparency about the resource and skills situation, submarines on the last meters, latecomers, ...
